The TaylorMade R11 Fairway Wood is the latest and greatest from the makers of the No.1 drivers and woods in golf. It has new technology, like an adjustable sole that can adjust the face angle of the club, as well as the ability to adjust the launch angle, making it a truly adjustable fairway wood. This club promotes up to 60 yards of side-to-side trajectory change and 1,000 RPM backspin change, giving you consistent power and distance. It has a new deeper face and deeper center of gravity, which produces a more penetrating flight. The white non-glare crown and black clubface (which provides easy alignment) will improve your game and that sleek white finish will make you the center of attention on the course and in the clubhouse.
With many of the same features as the R9 fairway wood, the R11 fairway wood from TaylorMade takes adjustability to the extreme with the addition of an Adjustable Sole Plate (ASP). The ASP allows the club to sit precisely at address the way the player desires, regardless of the club's set up. Movable Weight Technology allows for either draw-biased or neutral weighting, while the Flight Control Technology provides up to eight different settings to adjust the face angle, lie angle, and effective loft, resulting in up to 60 yards of side-to-side trajectory change. The flat-white finish reduces glare and contrasts against the black face, resulting in easier alignment.
The TaylorMade R11 Fairway Wood provides more adjustability and more distance than every before. A golfer can adjust the loft to increase or decrease launch angle to get more distance and also can change the face angle to select an open, closed or neutral address setting for more distance. It features a reduced sole area for less turf resistance at impact.
Since it offers eight different Flight Control Technology (FCT) positions, you can increase or decrease the launch angle in .5 increments, while also changing the spin rate. With the Adjustable Sole Plate (ASP), you can adjust the face angle to be open, closed or neutral. Also, the white non-glare crown and black clubface allows for easy alignment. The TaylorMade r11 Fairway Wood allows every golfer to be in total control of distance and ball flight without sacrificing feel.

Taylormade R11 Fairway Woods Reviews:
This club is white , so I was convinced I would not like it . I have owned burners before and thought I would like the new burner more , but this club got the nod for how it feels in the hand and visually . The shaft is outstanding , what a surprise . It is not real whippy at all .
The white club head did not bother me at all . Just gets dirty real easy . It launches higher than I thought it would , so time to tinker . I had it set on standard , time to lower it to see if it really helps .
I can feel the shaft load , I can feel the head through out my swing . The face is hot . It is longer and hotter than my Cally razr , and is just a solid club . Much longer than the Callaway Razor I bought a couple weeks ago . I still want to try out the Burner to see on course results . I will say that this is an outstanding fairway wood . I am very happy with it .
Fantastic clubs it seems the Blur stiff shaft fits my aggressive swing perfectly. Very easy to adjust I think the neutral setting is a bit closed for me yet still able to work the ball from the stock setting. I have seen the paint start to chip only after 3 rounds.
The performance of this club is awesome, the ball just flies of the face and the white crown is very pleasing to the eye. The adjustable sole plate and flight control offer great adjustability. If there was one thing to be picky over it is that there are a lot of nooks and crannies for dirt and grass to get stuck it which makes the club somewhat difficult to clean. All in all though it is a great club!
I am rating the R11 fairway 15.5 Regular shaft.
Got it the day it arrived in the store and have played 3 rounds so far, plus an afternoon setting up on the range.
I would have given 5 stars except fro the poor documentation. Like the R11 driver there is a "secret setting" 180 degrees from standard loft there is an "Upright Loft" and this can only be seen with the shaft removed.
Now to the club performance.
Once set up to suit your swing it goes exactly where you point it, very accurate and it forces you to pay attention to your physical alignment in the fairway (or tee box).
I have been playing a 15 degree Taylor Made R7 for a long time and with my swing speed was getting between 185 and 190 off the deck.
The first time I hit the R11 flush it carried 200 yards uphill and I have been hitting it consistently over 200 yards on level fairways.
Seriously thinking of giving up one of my hybrids in exchange for the 4 wood.
